Because it is independent living, not a nursing home, your calm & loving dog is welcome to visit without being a certified pet therapy dog. We meet in a large room with residents who are interested in seeing, hearing about and interacting with your dog. Your dog should be people friendly, not just interested in other dogs. On leash, you will introduce your dog to residents, show off tricks if you wish and spend time with some really nice people. These Meetups last about an hour. This is an hour well spent. For our active dogs, we recommend a walk or run before coming to Town Village, so the dogs can relax and be adored.
